How much is a transfer from Heraklion Airport to Elounda?
The fare depends on your vehicle category (Standard, Business, or First Class), number of passengers, and time of travel. Elounda is approximately 67 km from Heraklion Airport (HER), typically around 70 minutes. Do you provide child seats?
Yes. Complimentary child and infant seats are available on request. Please specify the age and number of children when booking so we can prepare the correct seat type before your driver arrives.
What happens if my flight is delayed?
We monitor your flight in real time. For airport pickups we include 60 minutes of complimentary waiting time from your actual landing time. If your delay is longer, contact us on WhatsApp or by phone and we will adjust your pickup — we track the flight, not only the scheduled time.
Do you serve Chania Airport (CHQ)?
Yes. We provide private transfers from Chania International Airport (CHQ) to Chania town, Rethymno, Heraklion, Kissamos, and destinations across western and central Crete. Book online or contact us for custom routes.
How do I book a transfer with Destiny Crete?
You can book on our website (pickup, drop-off, date, and vehicle), via WhatsApp at +30 697 057 9070, by phone, or through live chat. You will receive confirmation with driver and vehicle details before travel.
What vehicles are in your fleet?
Our Mercedes-Benz fleet includes B-Class and E-Class sedans, S-Class for First Class, V-Class and Vito people carriers, and Sprinter minibuses for larger groups. All vehicles are air-conditioned with bottled water; WiFi is available on selected models.
Is meet & greet included at the airport?
Yes. Your chauffeur meets you in the arrivals hall with a name sign. We include flight tracking and 60 minutes of free waiting time on airport pickups.
What payment methods do you accept?
Pay securely online by card when booking, or pay the driver in cash on the day. Corporate and partner accounts can arrange invoicing — contact us for B2B setup.
What is your cancellation policy?
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before your scheduled pickup. For changes within 24 hours or no-shows, contact us as soon as possible — we try to accommodate flight changes at no charge when you inform us in advance.
Can you drive from Heraklion to Chania or Rethymno?
Yes. We offer point-to-point transfers across Crete, including Heraklion ↔ Chania, Heraklion ↔ Rethymno, and resorts such as Elounda, Agios Nikolaos, Hersonissos, and Malia. Long-distance trips are priced by route and vehicle in the booking system.
Do you offer private tours or only transfers?
Both. We run private tours (Knossos, Elafonissi, Chania old towns, Samaria Gorge, Spinalonga, and more) with the same Mercedes fleet and licensed drivers. Tours are fully private — your group only — with flexible hotel pickup.
Which languages do your drivers speak?
Our chauffeurs speak English and Greek fluently. German and French are available on request — let us know when booking.
What does your MHTE license mean?
Destiny Crete is licensed by the Greek National Tourism Organization (MHTE 1039Ε81000471901). We operate legally as a tourism transport provider in Greece, meeting national insurance and safety requirements.
Do you pick up from Heraklion cruise port?
Yes. We provide transfers from Heraklion cruise terminal to the airport, hotels, Knossos, and sightseeing. Share your ship name, disembarkation time, and luggage when booking.
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking at least 24–48 hours ahead, especially in July and August. Last-minute requests are often possible — contact us on WhatsApp for same-day availability.
Can I book a return transfer from my hotel to the airport?
Yes. One-way or return transfers. For returns, provide your flight departure time so we plan pickup with buffer for Heraklion (HER) or Chania (CHQ) check-in.
Are water, WiFi, and amenities included?
Complimentary bottled water on all journeys. WiFi in most vehicles. Child seats, meet & greet, and flight monitoring are included in our standard airport service.
